Naked Mod is a nude patch for the PC game The Sims 4, which was released in September 2014. This mod allows players to play without any clothes on. The mod will be made available for Xbox One when it releases in December 2016. The idea of this mod came from the desire to play realistic games without having to worry about decisions around gender or sexual orientation when deciding how their character should look; Naked Mod gives people an option to make their own decision with what they want to play without guilt or embarrassment. This mod is a massive project which began as a personal challenge for what could be done with the game engine. The initial idea was only to enable nudity, however it has since become an ever-evolving project that has enabled several new features including but not limited to: new clothing options, raise body modifiers, new hairstyles and facial hair options. I'm sure some of you are looking at this wondering how do you know so much about this game... Well, I am the founder of the site, Gameranx.com , which is pointed out below on page 2. This site is run by myself and my good friend David Gonnerman. I am officially releasing this mod, after testing it extensively on the site for over a month. I originally intended to release an article about this project before launch day, but it took longer than we thought and we ran out of time to make the release of the mod and article on the same day. After all, if you had a product you wouldn't want to release it without support and make sure it worked correctly right? We wanted to ensure that this project was as polished as possible before we released it. Also, I've been developing video games that are aimed at women for almost 10 years now (I'm still working on one named Red Solstice which will be out soon). I've always been a gamer and I wanted to create games that showed women differently than the norm and that's exactly what we've done. We want to show that gaming for women is not about pink frilly princesses and not about catering to them with female versions of existing characters. What we do want is for more people to become involved in the video game industry, not less. And this has already been proven by the massive success of The Sims 4, which sold over one million copies in two weeks. But back to the project at hand... We are releasing this mod onto our site Gameranx.com . We will be releasing an Xbox One version when it's released, but we're waiting on the patch notes to come out for it. We are contacting The Sims team about officially releasing an official mod for it. Here is a summary of what you can expect to see in this release with information on how to install this mod: MOD DESCRIPTION: This file basically turns the game into a nude one with most clothes removed. This includes normal clothing like socks, boots, hats etc so most clothes don't work anymore.
